What is it?

This is Me is a collaboration between Comics Youth’s Comics Corner and Feeling Strong’s Art Night. Discover the power of autobiographical comics and develop your own stories for publication! Come and meet other young artists in a supportive space with access to a wide range of art materials.

Over the course of the project you will explore the power of storytelling by developing your own comic narrative. These stories will be shaped by your lived experience and the mental health topics that matter the most to you. Together we will reflect on your journeys so far, the challenges you’ve overcome and your hopes and goals for the future.

You will also have the opportunity to complete and SQA Personal Development Award (it’s not as scary or boring as school, we promise!).
